Ashtanga Yoga

Beginner's Yoga

If you're new to yoga and don't know where to start, having a private instructor is one of the best ways to begin.
 

One-to-one attention will ensure that you learn the poses correctly, with proper alignment to ensure a safe practice.

With a strong foundation, you'll be safely set up to explore other types of yoga.

Hatha Yoga

A traditional and very popular yoga practice, Hatha challenges your strength and flexibility, while at the same time focusing
on relaxation and mindfulness.

 

Suitable for all levels.

Yoga at Home

Vinyasa Yoga

Where Hatha is about holding poses, Vinyasa is about flowing from pose to pose in coordination with the breath to increase flexibility, range of motion, and strength.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a restful practice, using props such as blankets and bolsters to help you stay in passive stretches for longer holds.

​

Using restful poses and deep breathing techniques, Restorative Yoga helps to combat the physical and mental effects of everyday stress and eases common ailments such as headaches, backaches, anxiety and insomnia:
 

• Deeply relaxes the body

• Stills the mind

• Improves capacity for healing and balancing

• Balances the nervous and immune system

• Boosts immunity

• Enhances your mood

Yin Yoga

A slow-paced class in which students hold poses for longer periods. This stretches deep connective tissues like fascia and ligament and makes for a practice that's both relaxing and meditative.

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal Yoga is a safe and gentle form of yoga that helps mums-to-be prepare for their next journey in life.

This class includes poses which help to build strength and stamina, strengthen and open the body in preparation for birth, and address common aches and pains.

​

It also includes restorative poses to aid relaxation, as well as breathing exercises which can prove invaluable during labor.

​

This class is appropriate for women in all stages of pregnancy, and no prior knowledge of yoga is needed.

Each class will be customised to your needs to your stage of pregnancy.

Postnatal Yoga

This new role in life can feel overwhelming at times, with many changes to cope with all at the same time. Postnatal Yoga is a safe and gentle form of yoga that helps you recover from childbirth and strengthen muscles post-delivery while also helping you to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

 

This class addresses common aches and pains such as lower back aches and issues faced with breastfeeding.

It also includes restorative poses and breathing exercises to help you relax.

​

This class is appropriate for women 6 weeks postpartum for normal delivery and 8 weeks for a Caesarean birth (please check with your doctor before starting class).

​

No prior knowledge of yoga is needed, and each class will be customized to your needs.

Pilates Practice at the Studio

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates strengthens the core, enhances flexibility, and improves posture.

It is low-impact and great for people with joint issues.

​

Suitable for all levels.
